Wet, Windy, Cold Easter!

We went from spring to the middle of winter.  It is cold, blowing gale force winds and dumping rain.  The outside horses are huddled in their shelters looking miserable.  And, the “good” news is that it will go on for several more days.  So much for the drought in California!

Don’t they look miserable?

Enough, that's enough. We are finally having decent weather. The flowers are out, the horses are happy. I don't want to hear one more word about rain in California, because you know what that means for us on the east coast, because of that miserable El Nino, more flooding, or some freak blizzard. Please angry weather gods, be nice to California. I don't think the folks in Rhode Island can stand one more drop.

I totally agree with you! I hope this nasty storm misses you. By California standards, this is like a real winter storm. My poor hairless horse isn't very happy. Hard to believe he is still in a heavy winter blanket in April....
